FoodHub — Privacy Policy
FoodHub ("we", "the app") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
Data we collect
- Account data — email and name when you register (optional; you can use the app as a guest).
- Photos — when you use FoodLens, the photo is sent to our AI provider to recognize the dish. Photos are processed in real time and are not stored on our servers.
- Location — only when you open "Nearby", to show restaurants/cafes around you. We do not track your location in the background.
- Push token — to deliver notifications (recipe of the day, etc.).
- Usage data — basic, anonymous analytics to improve the app.
How we use it
To provide app features (recipes, search, AI assistant, nearby places, notifications) and to improve the service. We do not sell your personal data.
Third-party services
- OpenAI — AI dish recognition and voice assistant.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging / Expo — push notifications.
- OpenStreetMap — nearby places search.
Data retention & deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time — see our

Data Deletion pages.
Children
FoodHub is not directed at children under 13.
